field closest to the Over 200 food and crafts booths means that your non-kiting mate/friend will actually enjoy tagging along to this kite festival! The "Hot Air Balloons" are back again this year! If you have never seen a field full of hot air balloons lifting off, do get up early and check this out up close and personal Monday morning at dawn. The noise the smell and the excitement as those majestic craft take off can not be described. It's well worth getting up early on your day off! Directions The Art & Wind Festival takes place in San Ramon Central Park located at the corner of Bollinger Canyon Road and Alcosta Boulevard. From Highway 680, take the Bollinger Canyon Road exit in San Ramon and head east on Bollinger Canyon. You'll see the signs for festival parking.
