Marina  International Festival Of The Winds
May 10-11, 2003 - Marina, Ca

Saturday everything flew undisturbed!

My octo and two of my pyros twinkle in the sun.

Dave Kirks delta took out my pyro, they landed in this yard, fortified with iron fences and gates... and no one home! Emalee climbed the fence!

We had 5 pyros up!

Saturday they had skydivers open and close the day.

Pin point landing!

There were 4 of them, the only pain was we had to take all the kites down!

Here's a shot of Sunday with camps being set up all around the crown! Well we won't be flying that any time soon!

More camps!

There's Dan Whitney under the octo's.

We put both octopi on one line, they played well together!

Then came the gecko!

Sharon flying her fighter.

Lots of color in this corner!

Behind the GWTW booth, a nice place to get out of the frey!

This ole guy set up his chair nearly ON the bridles of the crown and read his paper all afternoon.... why not read at HOME!!!!

Dorothy Emerson and her huby Steve and their commite put the event together... Great job, AND thank you!

J.R. Tolman busy cranking out kids kites and sharing his wisdom!

Fugu fun... they can't get hurt with this!

What a kid magnet!

Dorothy and Steve on the bandstand.

Fugu even attracted a TV camera!

NOW Dan is tugging on it!!

Late in the day sfter the crowd thinned out... kids still wanting to tug on kites!

The guy said this is a traditional EGYPTIAN kite, I had to photograph it!
