I have 5 Gomberg 100 ft tube tails, these tails r great ....BUT  i don't roll/fold or otherwise pamper them in anyway. They r crammed in the bag with the kites they r used on, never removing them. In time the openings get kinked bent and wont open properly anymore, thus preventing the tail from inflating fully or like mine not at all

I bought some PEX tubing, This stuff is used for iec maker water lines and is as stiff as anything if seen in this small size, I cut enough to make a snug ring that would fit inside the tube opening.

I burnt small holes thru the webbing and used wire ties to secure the pex rings

Tubes are fully open now!  Center tail has not been repaired yet. this is the newest one I have and is not kinked so bad it wont open, but you can see what i mean about kinky and not open fully. I will add a pex ring to the center one as well
